The internet is largely an anonymous place. While I respect your privacy, both myself and the people that read this site also appreciate your honesty and integrity. If you care to, please take a moment to authenticate your identity; I've spent some time and effort in making this as painless as possible by supporting a number of authentication providers.
If you can't or don't want to authenticate, that's fine; you can proceed anonymously by entering your name (or the word "Anonymous") in the "Your name" box, and clicking the "I don't want to sign in" button.
Whether anonymous or not, you will be subjected to a reverse Turing test (also known as a CAPTCHA) which is a necessary step to avoid comment spam. I'll also record your IP address in case of abuse issues; the IP address will not be displayed to the public.
You may sign in using your AOL, Google, Yahoo!, Facebook or one of a number of blog accounts. Your password is never shared with me, so I don't and can't record it.
